Orly "Space Cadet"

This is probably one of my favorite polishes of all time. The color is so amazing. It shifts between a dark purple and a bright green and is packed full of glitter!

This is the only bottle of Orly that I own and I cannot wait to buy more! The formula is awesome. It is the perfect consistency and goes on with ease! It also lasts a long time. I had at least 4 days with no chips!

I can't think of any polish similar to it. And I ALWAYS get compliments and questions about it.

Orly retails between $4.25- $8.00 at TransDesign and Ulta.

Essie "Navigate Her"

This is another color from the 4-piece mini set that I purchased from Amazon. It is part of the Essie Spring 2012 Navigate Her collection.

This shade is a pale cream green. This was the color I was most excited about when I purchased the set. And it did not let down! The formula was great, I only need 2 coats and it went on great!

I love this color for Spring! I needed some great colors this year for Spring and I feel like that's all I have been buying!

I think I prefer "To Buy or Not to Buy" from this collection, but it is still a great color for Spring!

Essie retails for $8 at Ulta (full size).

4-piece mini set from Amazon for $7.30.

OPI- The New York City Ballet

I love this collection! The soft pale colors are simple and beautiful. And the glitter will be a nice accent to all of the colors.

This collection is set to come out in April!

Nicole by OPI "Kendall on the Katwalk"

I went shopping over the weekend and I came across this nail polish. I picked it up and could not stop staring at it. I walked around with it for about an hour and decided I could not live without it.

"Kendall on the Katwalk" is a blue based glitter polish with green, blue, and purple glitter. I had not bought a Nicole by OPI polish in about 3-4 years so I wasn't sure what to expect as far as formula. But it went on beautifully! I really liked the brush, it's wider than a lot of brushes and it made application a breeze.

Isn't it beautiful! I love glitter polishes, and these are my favorite colors. This nail polish is so me! Now I really want to try some others in Kardashian Collection.

I used 3 coats of "Kendall on the Katwalk" and 2 coats of Seche Vite.

Nicole by OPI retails for $7.99 at Ulta.

Essie "Buy Me a Cameo" w/ Revlon "Sparking"

So today I had a job interview so I figured I had better change up my manicure. I wanted to do something classy, not too crazy, but still with a touch of me.

I had done this same manicure a few weeks ago and absolutely love it.

I used 2 coats of my first Essie polish I ever purchased, "Buy Me a Cameo". It is a frosted pale pink, a little sheer, but has a great formula. This is probably the only polish I have ever run out of. And over that I used 1 coat of Revlon's "Sparkling". A clear based glitter with pale pink hexagonal and microglitter. This polish is definetly made to be a top coat, because it would take quite a few coats to make it opaque.

I love this combination so much. It is a great for Spring and is classy, with just the right amount of sparkle to make it interesting.

What's not to love about this combination?

Essie retails from $4.35-$8 at TransDesign, Target and Ulta
Revlon retails for $3.99-$4.99 at Target and Ulta.

China Glaze- Capitol Colours

I am so excited for this nail polish collection. I am currently reading the third book, "Mockingjay". I am so obsessed with the entire story. I finished the first two books in about four days.

Anyways, back to the nail polish. I know there has been a lot of hype about it, but it's obvious as to why. The colors are amazing! And the entire collection includes colors that can be worn any time of year.

Safe to say, I cannot wait to purchase each one of these colors come March 23!

China Glaze "Below Deck"

I bought this color a couple months ago thinking it would be a great color for fall. Which it was! I also thought it would work well for Spring. I think it works great for both.

The formula was was great. A little runny, but I probably could have gotten away with just one coat. But here I used 2 coats of "Below Deck" and 1 coat of Seche Vite.

In the bottle the color appears more taupe than purple, but it goes on much darker to a beautiful  purple.

China Glaze retails from $3-$7 at Head2Toe Beauty and Ulta.

butter LONDON "Knackered" Over Black

Ever since I saw butter LONDON post their Spring 2012 collection I've had my eye on "Knackered". It is such a different looking color and so perfect for Spring! So I purchased both "Knackered" and "Disco Biscuit" from the new collection.

"Knackered" is a sheer blue based polish. But in different light it sometimes appears purple or green. It is also filled holographic micro glitter. Because of how sheer it is, I decided to layer it over my favorite black nail polish, Finger Paints "Black Expressionism".

I love that this polish looks different every time I look at it! And the glitter makes it even better!

butter LONDON retails for $14 at Ulta.
Finger Paints retails for $4.49 at Sally Beauty Supply.

Essie "To Buy or Not to Buy"

So I recently purchased a 4-piece mini set of Essie's 2012 Spring Collection Navigate Her from Amazon for $8.50. The set included "Navigate Her" (soft green), "Tour de Finance" (bright shimmery pink), "Olé Caliente" (bright coral), and "To Buy or Not to Buy" (lavender with blue and purple micro glitter).

I was immediately drawn to "To Buy or Not to Buy" first because of the glitter in it. The application was a bit streaky. I used 3 coats and 1 coat of Seche Vite. In the end I was disappointed that the micro glitter did not show up since that is what drew me to this polish in the first place. Regardless, it is a great color!

When I showed my fiance my nails and told him how I thought it was such a great color, he told me "That looks like the color of Jordan Almonds."

Not sure if that is a good or a bad thing, but "To Buy or Not to Buy" has easily become my favorite color for Spring.

Essie retails for $8 at Ulta (full size).
4-piece mini set from Amazon for $8.29.
